Shopify knowledge base checker: what will AI agents say about your store?
The question: What do I need to check in Shopify's new knowledge base before AI agents use it?
Shopify's knowledge base is the page where you control the non-product facts AI agents get about your store. It's at Sales channels › Agentic › Knowledge base (it replaced the Knowledge Base app, which goes on 15 January 2027). Two things catch people out: facts drafted from a scan of your storefront stay unpublished until you publish them, but facts linked to your admin, such as your policies and contact details, are published as soon as Shopify creates them. Tick what's true for your store and this page lists what to do next.
