Shopify Catalog eligibility checker: why isn't my product included?
The question: Why isn't my store or product in Shopify Catalog (the source for Shop and AI agents)?
Shopify Catalog is the product source that Shop and selected AI platforms and agents use. Products only go in if your store and each product meet Shopify's published requirements. Work through the store check once, then check any product that seems to be missing. Every rule here is from Shopify's Help Center, linked below.
Remember: Shopify says being included in Shopify Catalog doesn't guarantee a product will appear in a specific AI answer, rank in a specific position, or be shown by every connected channel.
1. Do you see a message in Shopify admin?
Go to Sales channels › Agentic and look next to Sources › Shopify Catalog. Pick the message you see:
